About
Teresa considers herself a visual interpreter. She works closely and intuitively with clients to transform their ideas into a
visual language.
Her aesthetic is timeless, classic and contemporary. Often she finds that the simplest solution is the most successful. 'Not everything simple is beautiful’ she says, ‘but often the most beautiful things are the simplest.’
Teresa founded her design and creative consultancy in 1993. She has created identities for luxury fashion, lifestyle brands and
hotels including Daylesford, Bamford, Toast, Connolly and the Wild Rabbit. She designed Joseph’s iconic packaging, whose striped carrier bags are still used today and, more recently, books for shoe designer Manolo Blahnik and architect Spencer Fung.
In 2012 she launched Hedgehog, a treasure trove of traditional toys and practical lifestyle products, sourced from around the world. She continues to run Hedgehog alongside her
design business.
